Why use a matcha whisk? The whisk allows you to mix matcha powder, water and air into a nice frothy beverage. Releasing the aromas and nutrients in the foam to the surface. Add 1/2 tsp of matcha to a small bowl, along with a splash of cold water work slowly with the whisk into a lump-free paste. Add your hot water, and start to whisk firmly for about 20 seconds using your wrist while holding the bowl with your other hand. Really go for it, as fast as you can in a back and fourth motion or 'zig zag' pattern to create a foam. Enjoy!
