nigella seeds

Also known as black cumin, these seeds are commonly used to flavour curries, vegetables and pulses. They add an amazing fragrance to dishes and are often found in Middle Eastern and Asian cuisines. We recommend to lightly toast them for a couple of minutes and grind into a powder, however, they also infuse nicely whole. You can also sprinkle them on top of bread and baked goods before putting in the oven for an extra hit of health and flavour. They are rich in antioxidants and antibacterial properties. Store in an airtight container in a cool and dry place.
