Brown basmati, being less processed than white rice, retaining it's wholegrain nutritional value as the outer bran is left intact. Basmati has the highest content of amino acids and essential nutrients of all rice. Grown in the foothills of the Himalayas. Basmati is delicate and long and pairs beautifully within a curry or in a biriyani. To cook, use double the amount of water to rice and place on the stove (in a pot with a lid on and on low heat) or in a rice cooker. Will cook in about 30-45 minutes. Store in an airtight container and keep in a cool, dry place.
