Makes a lovely naturally sweet tea. An excellent alternative to St. John’s Wort. Contains many anti-depressant compounds which are good to help relieve anxiety and de-stress. Known to help chronic fatigue, colds and flu, coughs, gingivitis, gout and body odour. Licorice makes for a fantastic tea on its own or can be used to mix with other herbal teas to make your own tailor-made brew! To make, steep 1-2 tsp in hot water (90C-95C), for 3-4 minutes. Store in an airtight container and keep in a cool, dry place.
