An Aussie favourite! Macadamias are a native Australian nut. They contain a healthy combination of nutrients known to protect the heart as they have high levels of monounsaturated fat, a “good fat” which helps to maintain healthy cholesterol levels. They are also very high in fibre, low in carbohydrates, and high in fat which makes them very popular for those on keto and paleo diets. Macadamia nuts work beautifully in cookies but can also be added to granolas, salads and trail mixes. They add a beautiful buttery flavour. Store in an airtight container and keep in a cool, dry place.
