Spelt is an ancient grain that is a close relative of wheat. It is light, easily digested and has a slight nutty taste making for a great tasting and nutritious breakfast cereal in muesli or porridge. Spelt is high in protein, fibre, iron, B-vitamins and vitamin E as well as containing complex carbohydrates for stable energy and blood sugar regulation. Use by itself or with other cereal grains in your morning meal, add into your favourite granola or use in baking. Store in an airtight container and keep in a cool, dry place.
