They are also rich in antioxidants, helping to flush out free radicals and detox the body. They make a fantastic energy fuelled snack! Blanched almonds are a popular choice in cakes, biscuits or trail mixes. The almonds are blanched in hot water (approximately 70C), slowly dried to correct moisture level, then sprinkled with a little sea salt and roasted to get the perfect crunch. Store in an airtight container, in a cool, dry place.
