Baked Oats

Cooler weather means more warming breakfasts, and for that, it doesn't get better than baked oats.⁠ With its deliciously cakey texture, baked oats are pretty much the equivalent of having dessert for breakfast. We love these three combos of blueberry muffin, banana bread and choc chip cookie.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup oats (rolled or quick)
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 heaped tbsp vanilla protein powder
  • Optional add ins - blueberries, mashed banana with cardamom and nutmeg, chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 150°C. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Pour into a baking dish or into small ramekins and bake at 150°C for 20 minutes. Enjoy with our coconut yoghurt and some honey on top for sweetness.
