Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Enjoy these with a cosy night in with friends or as the perfect afternoon treat.

  • 1 cup of Scoop's fresh almond butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 free range eggs
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup coconut or maple sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped dark chocolate chunks


Preheat oven to 175 C then simply mix together the almond butter, vanilla and eggs. Then in a seperate bowl mix together the dry ingredients; baking powder, sugar and cocoa powder. Add wet to dry ingredients and combine with wooden spoon until you have a sticky dough. Spoon and drop mixture onto lined baking or cookie tray. Then press in 3-4 chocolate chunks in each. Leave space between as they will spread. Bake for 10-12 mins, 10 will leave them soft and gooey, and 12 would make them crispy.
