Cloves are the flower buds of the clove tree. Although small, cloves are giants when it comes to nutrition and flavour. With a sweet and aromatic taste, they are great in pot roasts, teas and baked goods. Cloves are one of the main ingredients in gingerbread cookies and a staple spice in Indian cuisine.
