Lavender has powerful calming benefits. Studies have shown that lavender can reduce anxiety and stress from both the internal use as well as the fantastic aroma they produce. They have also shown to improve the quality of sleep and aid restful sleep. They can be enjoyed in a tea on their own or blended with other herbs and flowers to make your own tailor-made blend! You can even add to a bath, or to decorate baked treats because of their beautiful purple colour. To brew, use 1-2 tsp and steep in hot water (90C-95C) for 2-5 minutes. Store in an airtight container and keep in a cool, dry place.
