Hemp Milk with Cacao and Almond Butter

Perfect post work out refreshment full of good healthy fats, protein and nutrients.


Ingredients
  • Smoothie
  • 4 cups of filtered water
  • 1/2-3/4 cup hemp seeds or 1/2 & 1/2 activated cashews and hemp seeds
  • 4 tbsp fresh almond butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 4-6 pitted dates
  • 2 tsp maca powder
  • 1/4 tsp cardamon and/or cinnamon
  • Pinch of Himalayan salt
  • 3 ice cubes

Directions

1. Blend 4 cups of filtered water with 1/2-3/4 cup hemp seeds until smooth. 2. If hemp is too strong for you, then use 1/2 activated cashews and 1/2 hemp seeds. 3. Once you have a smooth milk, add 4 tbsp fresh almond butter, 1 1/2 tbsp raw cacao powder, 4-6 pitted medjool dates, 2 tsp maca powder, 1/4 tsp cardamom and/or cinnamon, a pinch of Himalayan salt and 3 ice cubes. 4. Blend until smooth. 5. Dust with some extra raw cacao powder and cinnamon over the top
